Introduction
The Problem:
A model rocket company has contracted my team to design a new rocket model to achieve a maximum altitude using the parts available within the company's product portfolio.
Constraints:
We took constraints from assignment 2.2.5B on the Project Lead the Way website and we could only use materials provided by Mrs. Gallo.
How well do I expect the rocket to perform compared to the simulation?
I expected it to work worse than the simulation simply because I doubted a computer being able to calculate all the possible malfunctions in the craft or random variations in the wind, but I certainly thought my rocket would function at least partially, which it didn't. The rocket took off, flew back over us, hit the light post, the engine block popped out of the back, and crash landed in a spectacular show of nothingness. My launch was a critical failure overall, but at least Tayyab had a blast.
